Stumbling Thoughts!

I have always been fond of posing and getting myself clicked, which is also a reason I started The Rickrack Project besides my love for fashion. But my blog is as far as I will ever go ‘professionally’ speaking. Also, I find it very difficult to keep a straight face when someone is clicking a picture :/ !! You know how sometimes lyrics from a song can make you sit and think deeper about the real meaning of it.Does that happen to you too? I love Ed Shereen’s songs, always brings a faintly smile on my face.

We keep this love in a photograph
We made these memories for ourselves
Where our eyes are never closing
Hearts are never broken
And time’s forever frozen still
So you can keep me
Inside the pocket of your ripped jeans
Holding me closer
You won’t ever be alone

And just like that these lyrics got me thinking how important a single photograph can be to oneself because sometimes that is all you’re left with. Those are the only memories. No words. Just the picture. I have a couple of pictures that mean so much more to me now, they are like my prized possessions.  They are my sweet memories of a loved one.Forever.  Do you have a special picture in your pocket too?

Now coming back to my style post! The actual concept for this look is a night out look which I styled for Temore brand. But for reason unknown to me i wanted to experiment with a light and shadows effects for this look. So I decided to go with my instincts and see what comes out.

We are shaped by our thoughts; we become what we think. When the mind is pure, joy follows like a shadow that never leaves.“-Buddha
