LFW W/F 2013!!

Hey Rickrackers!

I hope every one of you are doing well :)!
I’d start by saying that my mood has been quite uplifted from the past 5 days and all thanks to Lakme Fashion Week W/F 2013.Well,Like always LFW never disappoints ,though how I wish i could be there in Hyatt ,Mumbai to witness the fashion grandeur.!But having said I say ‘yay’ to the social media (facebook, twitter and instagram) for the minute to minute updates.Life is so much better with technology 😀
Anyway I really want to share some amazing styles, fabrics, jewellery ,draping and designers that were striking and caught my attention .
so let’s head to the runway!

My fav looks/outfits from LFW W/F 2013

NIKHIL THAMPI

My Absolute favourite designer of this season ! His collection is inspired from Kathakali dance form comprising of blacks, golds and whites with beautiful flock print motifs on silks and nets. Each one of the pieces are just so wearable and stunning !

Jewellery for the collection was created by Valliyan by Nitya

SAILEX
Three words-Feminine,seductive and ultra glamourous.

Love this peacock blue silk-satin sari, it’s simple yet so strong!

NISHIKA LULLA

This girl knows what she is doing!Inspired by a global traveller she focussed on comfort with Layering, cape coats, shirt dresses,mid-thigh length skirts ,just right for winterwear!

 Right girls ?

KEN FERNS

Birds and dry branches(This took me back to my print development classes :p) what I like about this outfit is the branch print on crepe satin, gives a romantic touch to the look.Don’t miss the dry trees as a headgear.

GEN NEXT-THE QUIRK BOX

Staying true to their brand name The’Quirky’box.

HUEMN BY PRANAV MISHRA AND SHYMA SHETTY

A futuristic or rather Huemn girl wears a sweatshirt with her diamond earring and reebok shoes.Structured silhouettes and a clean look. Its a perfect score !

RAHUL MISHRA

The International woolmark prize winner showcased a collection comprising of handloom textiles.I particularly like the trench coats and blazers been wore as blouses half in and half out.

ANITA DONGRE

Exquisite and super gorgeous outfits!I would definitely recommend them for upcoming festive occasions, I’d say a blend of tradition and modernity .

VALLIYAN BY NITYA

Sometimes less is more but more is always more and I love it,all of it !

Hope you enjoyed this post as much as I did blogging about it !
